Not a Hoof Is to be Left Behind

A couple plagues before the Israelites are delivered, Pharaoh makes an offer to let God's people go without their livestock. I was surprised! Why didn't Moses accept?

"You must allow us to have sacrifices and offerings... our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind."

A complete redemption. God will not settle for a compromise. He redeems His people in fullness and bounty. He provides His people with bounty for sacrifice, worship, and means to serve Him. He does not leave His people without a way to obey and worship Him.

Am I this adamant about God's worship? Do I accept situations where I know my ability to worship will be compromised? He provides the means for me to worship, but I have to worship. He has given me the time, the knowledge, the Spirit, the spiritual eyes; but I have to use them.
